Notes on Styling
We all have a style that comes most naturally to us. Discover, understand and reimagine your style with Style Design. But first, welcome...

When I think about wearing something I love, I think about confidence, joy, truth, excitement, ease. I think about how a great outfit makes our day better, nicer, filled with more.
We are all on the eternal search for more of these outfits.
The ones that just hit different.
Like the perfect glass of wine on a Summers evening - all the conditions - the little things - have to be right. Just the right amount of sunshine but not glaring. A comfortable seat, a cold glass, a quiet place, the perfect company.
Finding your own personal style is an exploration of YOUR perfect conditions, YOUR little things. It’s to do with styling and understanding your style parameters but it’s also about you. Who you are and what you love.
I’ve worked in styling for 15 years now and you know the most important thing I have learnt is how to intuitively understand what will work on a client. I have learnt how to put down the parts a client thinks they need and show them the things they never dreamt they could wear. Over time, I have just learnt the art of knowing what that might be and the parts of yourself you have unconsciously pushed down.
Women who have developed their magic recipe for expressing who they through their clothes is a magical place to be with your style.
I want this place to be an exploration of the little things that will make the biggest difference to how you approach your style, see your style and help you recognise how to love what you buy and wear.
Read more about my background & Style Design here.
I will share all sorts here. I see substack as the central point to building a little community of women who are interested in this new approach and are ready to see their style through a fresh lens.
What and how I share things here will be a work in progress I am sure but I am excited!
My hope is that in this ebb and flow of sharing, you begin to see how Style Design can help you feel differently about your style.
I love to chat, so please feel free to comment under any of my posts, That is where I will hang out or email me anytime - to say hi, ask a question or to start your own style exploration - hi@juliecobbe.ie and if you know of anyone who might like my page, please do share Notes on styling with them too!
Welcome.
Yours,
